Circulation & Loan Policies for Faculty & Staff

FACULTY

General collection

  • 120 day loan
  • 2 renewals (depending on demand) by e-mail or online form
  • May be recalled after 75% of original loan period

Reserves collection

Faculty may borrow reserve material from their own classes to use in class. Items will be charged out to the instructor.
 

Laptops and Library Group Study Rooms are not available for faculty use

STAFF

General collection

 
  • 60 day loan
  • 2 renewals (depending on demand) by e-mail or online form 
  • Recallable after 75% of original loan time

Reserves collection

  • Most are 3 hour
  • Most are in-library use only
  • Instructor may extend loan period
  • Non-renewable

Laptops are not available for staff use

 

Library bills


A $4.00 processing fee will be attached to all general collection material overdue by 21 days or more for students, alumni and guests. At 28 days overdue the item will also be assessed with a lost/ replacement bill for all patrons. If the item is returned within 90 days, the lost fee will be deleted. No processing fee is associated with reserve material or miscellaneous items, but replacement fees do apply.
