"The reason behind choosing Utica University is that the entrepreneurial landscape is one where innovation and adaptability are the key."

The enrollment of international students at Utica has grown tremendously in recent years, with more than 50 international students joining the university from more than a dozen countries, including Japan, United Kingdom, Nepal, India, Spain, Pakistan, and Vietnam, among others.

Each brings with them their own set of hopes, dreams, and plans for a future made possible with the top-tier education they receive here.

One of those students is Muhammad Hamza Bilal, from Lahore Pakistan,an MBA student specializing in Business Analytics.

Utica Magazine recently sat down with Muhammad to discuss how he plans on leveraging the skills he gains at Utica into an entrepreneurial dream that blends with his passions for sports cars and motorsports.

Utica Magazine: Could you tell us a little bit about yourself?

Muhammad Hamza Bilal: I completed my undergraduate degree specializing in Business Marketing and Sales. Music, traveling, photography and fashion are some beautiful hobbies I keep with me in life. I’m passionate about super cars, super bikes and motorsports. Meeting new people, exploring new mindsets is what I like for my mental growth. I’m a socially active person and like being at social gatherings / events.

UM: What made you choose Utica University?

MHB: The reason behind choosing Utica University is that the entrepreneurial landscape is one where innovation and adaptability are the key, and I’ve come to realize that marketing and management in today’s digital era are at the heart of any successful venture. This is why Utica University’s Master of Business Administration program is a natural next step and an ideal match for my entrepreneurial aspirations. The program offers cutting-edge insights into critical thinking, marketing strategies, analytics, and branding—skills that are essential for any entrepreneur seeking to thrive in a competitive market. By combining my entrepreneurial drive with the knowledge gained through this MBA program, I am confident that I will be better equipped to grow my business and capitalize on emerging opportunities in the global marketplace.

UM: What are your post-graduate plans/objectives?

MHB: After completing my MBA, I aspire to pursue a career in business and data analytics, leveraging these skills to establish and grow a business that caters to the niche market of sports car enthusiasts. My goal is to create a company specializing in providing high-quality auto parts and tailored services for this passionate community. By utilizing data analytics, I aim to better understand customer preferences, optimize inventory management, and deliver personalized experiences that meet the unique needs of sports car owners. This combination of business acumen and analytical expertise will enable me to build a dynamic and customer-focused organization that excels in quality and innovation.
