Leising and Kovacs Recognized for Commitment to Students
The Celebration of Education program serves as a platform to celebrate and honor the remarkable educators and educational programs within the Mohawk Valley community.
Two members of the Utica University community were recognized this fall for the contributions to education and dedication to students.
Professor of English Dr. Gary Leising and Executive Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Mark Kovacs were both honored at The Genesis Group’s 17th Celebration of Education in November at Harts Hill Inn in Whitesboro, New York.
Kovacs was named a Distinguished Service Honoree and and Dr. Leising was inducted into the Hall of Distinction for their efforts in higher education.
