Ariel L. Rios, M.S.
Biography
Ariel joined Utica University in November, 2022 as the Executive Director for the Health and Wellness Center. Prior to this position, she has had almost 10 years of experience working in the Health Insurance -Managed Care field in Case Management and Utilization Review. Prior to that she was a School Based Social Worker in the City School District of Albany through Parson’s Child and Family Center. Ariel received her Master’s in Social Work from Columbia University’s School of Social Work and her Bachelor of Arts Degree in American Studies, with a concentration in Race and Ethnicity from Smith College.
Ariel currently lives in New Hartford, NY with her husband Jonathan, step-son Caleb and Oriskany, a rescue cat from the streets of Downtown Utica. Ariel’s interests include traveling, reading, thrifting, and boating on Oneida Lake.
