Biography
John W. Peter did his undergraduate work at the University of Michigan - Dearborn, with a major in mathematics and a minor in applied statistics. He went on to Wayne State University in Detroit, MI where, under the supervision of Professor John R. Klein, he earned a Ph.D. in mathematics, specializing in homotopy theory and algebraic topology. His research focuses on using homotopy-theoretic methods to solve problems in embedding theory.
