Biography
Michelle Collver, MS, is a NYS certified Level I Lead Crime Analyst with the Mohawk Valley Crime Analysis Center. She has been employed by the John F. Finn Institute for seven years. Her responsibilities include, but are not limited to, analyzing gun violence for Utica and Oneida County as part of the Gun Involved Violence Elimination (GIVE) initiative.
She holds a M.S. in Cybersecurity and a B.S. in Economic Crime Investigation from Utica College. These degrees allow her to use her experience and expertise to be an adjunct professor for Utica College in their Criminal Intelligence Analysis degree.
She also is the Vice President of Membership for the New York Association of Law Enforcement Analysts (NYALEA), which is a non-profit association created by crime analysts located throughout New York State.
