Biography
Sarah has a long and varied history at Utica College. Currently, she is an Associate Professor of Health Sciences. Previously, she taught in and Chaired the Therapeutic Recreation and Aging Studies programs. She also created and Chaired the Wellness and Adventure Education and Chaired the Psychology-Child Life programs. Research interests include healthcare navigation and advocacy for black and brown people, the Village to Village network, and older adults’ social networks. Sarah's PhD is from Penn State in Recreation, Parks, and Tourism Management and was funded by a training grant from the National Institute on Aging.
