"The Ethics of War and the Ethics of Cyberwar"
At 7:00 pm on Thursday, February 28, 2013, Professor Randall Dipert, C.S. Peirce Professor of American Philosophy, SUNY Buffalo, gave a public lecture titled "The Ethics of War and the Ethics of Cyberwar". The talk was hosted in the ECJS Carbone Auditorium on Utica College's campus at 1600 Burrstone Rd., Utica, NY.
Professor Dipert discussed topics ranging from just war theory, to contemporary examples of cyberwarfare, including the best known recent instance: Stuxnet. Other topics included recent aggression by Russia on Estonia and Georgia.
