The F. Eugene Romano Executive Lecture Series
Presented by the Business and Economics Department of Utica University in cooperation with the Office of Advancement
The F. Eugene Romano Executive Lecture Series invites top business leaders to share their experiences in the world of management and leadership with the Utica University community.
All lectures take place at Clark City Center, Brvenik Center for Business Education, at 7:00 p.m. (Transportation will be available leaving Strebel Circle at 6:30 p.m. and returning at approximately 9:00 p.m.)

Erica Eckman '08
"The 10 Commandments for Success."
Born and raised in Boston, Erica Eckman '08 earned her undergraduate degree in Business from Utica College in New York before completing her MBA at Brandeis University’s International Business School.
In 2016, she founded Ecko Digital Media, a female-led, data-driven marketing agency specializing in influencer-driven sales strategies for DTC brands in the food, health, and wellness industries. Leveraging her own background as an influencer, Erica pioneered innovative, performance-based approaches that directly drive revenue. Under her leadership, Ecko Digital Media has become one of the nation's top agencies in data-driven marketing. Today, its talent management division represents 60 influencers, and a brand division that executes marketing dollars for CPG brands in the direct-to-consumer space.
Driven by her entrepreneurial spirit and passion for high-quality products, Erica co-founded FlavCity in 2020. As CMO, she built it into a powerhouse supplement and functional beverage brand, now a major player in the health and wellness market. She is also an active angel investor, backing numerous successful brands in the space, and serves as an advisor to several household CPG brands.
Beyond her professional success, Erica finds fulfillment in South Florida, where she lives with her husband, Dan, and their two daughters, Elia (8) and Noa (3).
