Looking at Leadership
Vision behind the 2007-08 theme
A fundamental goal of higher education is that of preparing the next generation of leaders. But in the context of a rapidly changing society, how is leadership itself changing? Looking at Leadership will promote a wide-ranging dialogue on how different generations, cultures, and groups:
- define the qualities of leadership
- choose their leaders
- set limits on those who lead them
Throughout the year, events and activities will facilitate examination of these and other aspects of leadership, providing opportunities to engage in meaningful dialogues. Members of the academic community and the public at large are encouraged to join in and participate.
