Preparing for the New Normal
Diversity Committee and Social Cultural Committee Events
As we begin a New Year, make resolutions, and think about where we want our year to lead, it is important to take time to think about the world around us and look at where our collective future may be heading. It is in this spirit that the Diversity Committee and Social Cultural Committee invite you to participate in our series, "Images of the New Normal." "Images of the New Normal" will run throughout the first half of the semester and will consist of an Image Wall and a three part film series. All four pieces are discussion based and will address questions around diversity, societal acceptance, taking a stand, and what we see as images of our "new normal."
The dates and times of each part of the series are listed below. The Image Wall will be displayed in the Ellen Knower Clarke Lounge in Strebel Student Center throughout the day, with a discussion to take place at the end of the day. The three movies will be shown in the Macfarlane Auditorium and light refreshments will be provided.

February 10th at 5:30pm in Macfarlane Auditorium
Film: Freedom Writers
February 24th at 5:30pm in Macfarlane Auditorium
Film: Million Dollar Baby
March 10th at 5:30pm in Macfarlane Auditorium
